Good! Very good

yeah i though they looked really nice. there was a lot of inspiration from the movie the crazies.

I'm starting to get conflicting feelings about these newer animators.
Decent art, but it is shared and thrown around a bit. Everyone seems to be ripping from each other, and even the OLDER animators. \
It also appears that you guys, even though new, aren't the best animators, yet you 5 and 10 each other with little to no constructive criticism.
Nothing against you Nuke, but it's all going to hell. Between the grammar, thrown around sprites, horrible animation with little chance of improving because you all suck up to each other without giving each other your honest opinions considering.
All I want is for the newer wave of animators to improve and get a sense of taste, and the difference between absolute shit and actual animation.

Now Nuke, can I speak to you directly? You submitted "Breach and Clear" a while back. It was ok, not the best, but better than most of the newer animators. You have a VERY long way to go, along with everyone else, but seriously. Do you think it deserved a rating of 4? Look at the comments. Is that really constructive? You also need to be sure to critique yourself. If you see one issue, that you may be able to "overcome" by ignoring it, fuck the project! Compare your animation to people like DIMB, Krinkels, Delawares, Delamortes. This also goes for everyone else! Peter, hank and a large percentage of animators. Just because they are your "friend", who you don't even know, doesn't mean you have to give them a 10 and a 5. You need to really be hard, give ACTUAL criticism, and go above and beyond to improve. You don't realize it, but this is actually being lazy. Taking sprites, going for quantity of your animations over quality and giving a big "fuck you!" to actual animation. You need to get down on yourselves and improve EVERY INCH of your animations. You need to make them look sharp, while using YOUR OWN SPRITES! Don't take details from other animators, don't take ANYTHING that you might have seen in their work. You need to be original.

I was in this position before. I was complacent, but I know fuck myself over anything I see wrong with my animation. This is why people take MONTHS to animate. You can't be like DIMB, Krinkels, Delawares, Delamortes, Alpha-Nuva or anyone else in less than a year or two. You need to practice.

Stop submitting your half-assed animations for now. Work together to improve, and be harsh.

ok. i understand exactly where you are coming from. dont worry, i get it. but in my defense, im not really that new of an animator. i started about 2 years ago and let me tell you i was a shitty ass animator when i started, so i am completely proud of where i was to where i have gotten.

in response to your question about madness breach and clear, i 100% didnt deserve anything over a 3.50. i was actually surprised. and no very few of the comments are constructive, but think about where they are coming from. click the names. none of them are authors. they are just random people who dont animate, and therefore think that "better than most of the newer animators ".

also, no i do not stack up to all the names you mentioned, but i sure as hell am getting there. i have actually been making effort to do better, and i must say it is actually looking good even compared to stuff i posted 2 months ago.

yes, i always give constructive criticism, at least for madness videos, i dont just run in and say "oh great 10", or "this sucked 0" i usually tell them something to improve on.

with breach and clear, i do believe i say in the description that i was bored and wanted to make something. so i was lazy and took sprites from someone else. ok no problem, bored for a week decided to do something new. i have no problem with that, but with these major projects, like madness quarantine, i either have one of my co workers make something, or i make it myself. i dont see a problem with that. i also spend 10 to 11 months working on it. so again i see no problem with taking a break for a week to do something random. you only see the half ass animations because im still working on the really good ones all year

so i hope you understand now.
P.S i do give a fuck about my animations
P.P.S im probably going to take down the madness quarantine trailer because i restarted it and it looks nothing like that any more.

any more questions? :)

I am sorry if I may have offended you, but like I said, it's not just you.
But you also redefined my points.
You admitted you were lazy, which is a large issue among most new animators. I'm not saying you won't improve, but you need to be aware that laziness will not breed improvement. The second issue I saw is that you were "bored for a week". If you worked for only a week, not saying that you did, although from what you said you might have. Also, co-workers? Who would that be?

People just need to improve on grammar, maturity and overall criticism. I feel there is just something wrong with the newer animators. I can't put my finger on it, but I can tell that most of these NEWER animators, including you, don't put much effort into it. You may CARE about it, but you won't put months into perfecting your animation, and then MONTHS into animating it. You need to perfect your animations and start with your own sprites in order to actually begin working on a major animation. That would most likely lead to a good amount of decent feedback.

the co worker is biosoldier167. there is nothing wrong with going to a person with a great set of skills and hiring him to help you. i hired him last week for character design. yeah i understand its the entire breed. i am serious about madness quarantine and have been extremely meticulous with every frame i put into it. i am on month 5 of work, and am not even half way done yet, so i can fairly say that i am working hard to make sure everything is perfect. adn no you have not seen any of my, what i consider good pieces of work because im still working on them because it takes so long.

and no i take no offense to any of this. i just see this as a good animator making his point about things that are bugging him with the next generation of animators. i also see that you do have great pieces of work, but (in no offense u are a great animator) dont let it get to your head. i just have a few questions.

do you categorize yourself with DIMB, Krinkels, Delawares, Delamortes, Alpha-Nuva?

do you make all your own sprites ALL on you own?

how long have you animated?

I am not at all comparing myself to those animators.
I make my sprites. I do not rip them, as I have done in the past.
Also, three years.

good so your pretty genuine. nice, nice. so in the end, we are not that diffrent! either i make my own sprites or i have my co worker make it. also the shit you see with ripped sprites is from a year ago. i changed.

So how is it coming along?

lol icebreaker. its pretty good. the new style of animation makes it look perfect. i will let you see the old version some time

where dose he get his ideas >.<

who biosoldier?

yea, i....... must..... animate...... with.......that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111 11111

LOL probably will release the sprites in the future for you guys. i just want to hold them until the animation is done. plus i still probably have to talk with Biosoldier and see if he is cool with it.
